This class is for ALL skill levels, and will teach you the terminology on what 3D printing is, and what it might do for you in your life. You will be able to learn about the uses, materials and resources of 3D printing.

No previous experience required!

This is the perfect class to take if you have either: never heard of 3D printing, or have some knowledge of the field, but want to know more. The class will give you a great understanding of where the 3D printing field started, where the field is today, and where it is heading in the future, with hands-on experience on our excellent 3D printers.

In a fun and lively atmosphere, you will learn the basics of what 3D printers are, how they work, and be able to interact with our 3D printers to see your learning in action. We will then go into how the printers actually print, and the software "toolchain" that is commonly used to make the printers do their thing.

By the end of the class, you will have experience with downloading designs off of the Internet , how to prepare them for printing (and evaluate if they will print successfully), and monitor the printer's progress. You will also be able to talk to people in your life with knowledge and confidence about how these technologies will change the way you interact with the world.
